Each week during the season we ventured to Staten Island for our special feature ‘A Year in the Life of Curtis HS Football.' This week, Pete Gambardella visits with us for the final time this season following their shocking first round loss to Beach Channel.
In our “chalk talk” segment we’ll confabulate with Marc Raimondi of FiveBoroSports.com about the football playoffs, review the PSAL Soccer championships and preview the PSAL Girls Volleyball postseason.
History was made last week when 15th seeded Beach Channel ended Curtis’ championship reign in a downpour in Staten Island. Dolphins head coach Victor Nazario joins us to discuss the game everybody is still talking about.
If you’re looking to score straight A’s in high school sports, make sure you get to school on time. Class is in session every Friday, at 1:00 PM on Radio New York 91.5 FM your ticket to High School Sports throughout the entire year in New York City, a National Public Radio (NPR) and Public Radio International (PRI) member station.
